Toronto, Ontario – March 7, 2012 - Heritage Education Funds Inc. (Heritage) announced this week, the release of their new business tool delivered through an iPad app on the iTunes store. As Heritage approaches almost 5 decades of being in the registered education savings plan (RESP) industry, it felt a need to stand out from the competition and created a dynamic and more efficient RESP application process.
On Monday March 5th RESPxpress, the name for the app, was launched on the iTunes store, a paperless solution to the traditional application process. The new technology will not only allows a sales representative to process new applications faster and with less error, but also allows for a more interactive sales presentation. The technology also provides graphics to help create a more personalized experience for those wishing to learn more about the planning for a child’s future post-secondary education and its many benefits. Heritage also plans to include video in an upcoming release as well as launch an android version of the RESPxpress later this year.
Heritage expects to see over 40% of new business processed through this app by the end of the year. “For Heritage this application technology is more efficient and will allow for an error-free application submission, but it also enhances the overall experience for our customers”, says Jason Maguire, President, Heritage Education Funds. “Avoiding lengthy paperwork and displaying effective graphs and presentations provides a more efficient explanation of the product, which is a benefit to subscribers and arms our sales representatives with better sales tools then ever before”.
